Fox-IT announces that it is divesting its internet interception analysis division Replay to the American company NetScout Systems, Inc. Fox-IT expects Replay to foster within the new environment, and reach a broader and more international set of customers. With the proceeds of this transaction, Fox-IT will finance new innovations. NetScout, based in Westford MA, USA, will develop the software further to expand the possibilities of its nGenius® Service Assurance Solution product line towards the world of cybersecurity. Financial details were not disclosed.
New possibilities
NetScout is the market leader in Unified Service Delivery Management solutions. NetScout has a broad portfolio of products and services that provide insight in the status of IT networks of organizations. The Fox Replay technology is a natural expansion of this portfolio. This expansion will allow NetScout to extend its positioning in the field of cybersecurity by enabling the reconstruction of sessions and giving a good insight into user activities. In this manner, analysts can literally see what the user saw and heard.
